Bookings are OPEN for 2024 and a new addition to Only in Prawle
Here is an excellent view of Devon’s most southerly cottages at Prawle Point taken from Langerstone, a rocky cove along the South West Coast Path. You too could be staying in one of them! Imagine waking up not just to the sight of the sea but the sounds too. Forget breakfast and just go straight over the field in front, down on to the rocks below and take a dip in one of the delightful and fairly unknown swimming spots - you may even be joined by a seal or two - bliss!
Of course, some people like to be in the thick of the action in the village of Prawle which is actually only a three minute drive or 20 minute walk from Coastguard Cottages. Only in Prawle is therefore pleased to report that we have a new house in our collection - Lower West House. It’s a welcoming farmhouse in the centre of the village with views down the valley to the sea but just out of the way enough to be a peaceful retreat for up to five guests and TWO pets (could be cats or budgies I guess). Non pet owners are more than welcome of course…
We are now taking bookings for 2024 and popular weeks fill up fast so if you’d like to at least be pencilled in, let me know quickly. You can see the up-to-date availability for each holiday cottage on their individual page. I can’t do anything clever like ‘instant book’ but if you send me an email I’ll answer any questions you may have. Or, just choose your preferred cottage and dates, fill in the booking form which will come straight to me and I will answer asap I promise.

Kate & Martin’s - the largest cottage sleeps 6 plus 2 but is also very comfortable for 2 - Friday changeover from £950 - £1850 per week
Emma & Tim’s - sleeps up to 5 - Friday changeover from £850 - £1500 per week
Jenny’s - sleeps up to 5 - Saturday changeover from £800 - £1400 per week (no pets)
Lower West House - in the village - sleeps up to 5 - Saturday changeover £800 - £1400 per week
